I was pretty impressed by the size of my husband’s onions* (!) which I managed to pick yesterday, before a night of more steady rain. Ha! Not a rotten bulb in sight.

Does anyone know how to make sure your garlic bulbs split into cloves though? We had 50/50 results…hmmm. Please post your tips/experience with same!

*As in my OH buys, plants and waters them, while I lovingly make sure they aren’t choked by weeds and eventually pick them, store them and (mostly) cook with them! Why? What did you think I meant…?!
