Pirates like treasure, that much is true;
As they set sail on the ocean blue;
Sailing the sea hunting jewels and gold,
In search of adventures, they’re greedy and bold.
Knights in their castles, noble and fine,
Fighting off warriors, dragons and swine;
Keeping fair ladies safe from their foe,
Bravest and best wherever they go.
Life in the playroom can never be dull,
As fantasies great, little imaginations mull;
With toys, games, adventures and so much more,
Bricks to build with and dens to explore.

Lovely poem: I read sitting opposite a four year old who awaits an afternoon’s entertainment 🙂 It is very topical!
Hope it passed muster! 😉
