Oh no…. My worst nightmare! 😀 Bet it turns into something lovely though! 🙂
Me too – sure I used to know what it was once upon a time… *sighs* Any experts out there able to help us out please…?
loving this! 🙂
Thanks 🙂
Wow! Fab photo x
Thanks Kim 🙂
Well, he gave me shivers up and down my spine….. shudder, not too keen on creepy crawlies!!! 🙂
Oh is that a hairy caterpillar? At this time of year?
That’s what I thought too! He wasn’t exactly camouflaging himself effectively either, which is probably why he wasn’t there the next day!
I thought I must be wrong – wonder whether he had changed by the next day already
Very odd – was no sign of a chrysalis or anything interesting anywhere nearby in the morning. Perhaps not trying hard enough. We had half a dozen in our lavendar bush years ago at a previous property. Only three made it to chrysali, the others we assumed were breakfast for the birds!
ooooh very hairy caterpillar, makes me wriggle a bit – am not keen on them.
Never had you down as squeamish Gem!
Great close up!
Thanks Fiona x
